My name is Samantha, but I usually go by Samm.
I’ve always been a poet but I started messing around with cameras about five years ago. I’m going to college to get my degree in creative writing (specifically poetry) and I decided to minor in photography. I occasionally write things that aren’t poetry and work with pictures that aren’t stills, but I am a shitty visual artist otherwise.

I also post vlogs and videogame walkthroughs with commentaries called Let’s Plays. I have videos on both youtube, and Viddler. I’ve got a solo blog on this website related to LPs. At this point, it’s an archive of the LPs I’ve done. I also stream video games on the weekend, but you can find more information about that on the LP blog.
I live in one of the larger cities in the midwest. I’m twenty six, living with my boyfriend, and I am using this website for a blog of random thoughts. I’ve had a livejournal since 2002, but it’s mostly private. I would like to post some mundane things and I find I use the livejournal as an actual diary.
Some details about me:
I love animals, especially mice, horses, and ferrets. I have pet ferrets and finches. My favorite movies are mostly slow, stylistic, and downers (Solaris, Love Liza, and Primer are three of them). I play a lot of video games, especially puzzle games and RPGs. My favorite foods are all spicy or raw. Tact is just not saying true stuff. I’ll pass.
